Do you feel stressed by this difficult context and/or your job is one way or another related to finding solutions and bringing peace back in Europe?
I am thinking of my former EU colleagues who are under pressure and humanitarians I exchanged recently with. How much essential is your work, it is also essential to preserve yourself from cumulative stress and preserve your inner peace.
In this challenging period we all have our inner resources and tips we can activate.
Breathing is a powerful tool to calm your stress and anxiety.
Have you heard about cardiac coherence breathing?
- It is a slow and conscious breathing that helps relaxing and balancing your nervous system. Your breathing is coordinated with your heart rate. It is a simple technique validated by neurosciences for its proved efficiency and with no secondary effect!
How to practice it?
- Sit in a quiet space with your back straight in an open position to facilitate oxygenation.
- Follow the protocol 365. It means concretely:
At least three times a day and when you feel a stress increase. Usually I practice in the morning, before lunchtime and before going to sleep.
Breathe six times per minute. In practice, inhale for five seconds and exhale for five seconds each time.
Practice for five minutes.
- I recommend the application, Respirelax + or also Heart rate +
To get positive results, you need to practice on a regular basis. You will feel benefits on your body: a decrease of your stress hormone, better quality of sleep, focus and attention and on the mind, you reach better emotional balance.
Breathing consciously brings you to live in the moment and calm your mind!
Please tell me if you already practice it or if you would like to start integrating stress management habits I would be happy to guide you!
